About MoneyWise
Money skills, practised before they cost anything
MoneyWise is a financial education app for 13 to 18 year olds, built in the United Arab Emirates around simulated AED.
Our purpose
MoneyWise helps teenagers build practical financial skills by learning how to budget, understand spending decisions, develop saving habits and work towards personal goals. Everything is practised inside a simulated world, so a wrong decision costs nothing and the lesson stays.
Why financial literacy matters
Understanding money is more than knowing that saving is a good idea. It means planning before you spend, deciding which needs come first, weighing one choice against another, understanding what you give up when you choose, and being ready for the expense you did not expect.
Those are decisions, not facts, and decisions improve with practice. MoneyWise gives that practice a place to happen while the amounts are small and the consequences are simulated: a budget that turns out to be unrealistic, a week that overshoots, a goal that needs longer than planned.
What you can do with MoneyWise
These are the working features inside the app, available to every signed-in account.

Needs and wants, opportunity cost, unexpected expenses and why saving matters, each worked through with real figures.
Budget creation and planning
Allocate the money you have across categories, and see what is still unplanned before you commit.
Spending and transaction tracking
Log what you spend and what you receive, so a month becomes something you can actually read.
Personal savings goals
Set a target amount, record genuine contributions and follow progress towards it.
Progress monitoring
Weekly reviews, monthly summaries and trend charts built from your own recorded months.
Reviews and learning activities
Economics simulations, saving strategies, challenges and lesson progress in one place.
Our approach
MoneyWise aims to make financial education practical, engaging and relevant to everyday decisions. Instead of being told that budgeting is important, a learner makes a budget, spends against it and sees the difference.
Content is written to be questioned rather than trusted blindly: where a figure comes from an assumption, it is labelled as one; where something is practice, it is labelled as practice. Nothing in the app is financial advice, and no outcome is promised.
